Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), this notice explains, in our capacity as data controller, for which purposes and how we process your personal data.

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity: First name and surname.
  • Contact: Email address, phone number and company name.
  • Request details: The request type and message in the contact form; favourites and comparison lists in a member account.
  • Transaction security: IP address, session and login records, browser information.
  • Usage data: Statistical information about how you use the site, only if you consent to cookies.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Receiving and answering your requests for information, samples, catalogues and quotes
  • Managing your member account and your favourites and comparison lists
  • Contacting you and carrying out our business relationship
  • Keeping the site and our information systems secure
  • Meeting our legal obligations and requests from authorised public bodies
  • With your consent, measuring site usage to improve our website

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: it being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç), and our legitimate interest provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f). Statistics cookies rely solely on your explicit consent (Article 5(1)).

5. Transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be transferred only for the purposes above and to the extent necessary: to the hosting provider in Türkiye where the site is hosted, to our email infrastructure provider and, on request, to authorised public authorities.

If you consent to cookies, site usage statistics are transferred to servers abroad through the Google Analytics service provided by Google LLC. This transfer relies on your explicit consent under Article 9 of the KVKK; if you do not consent, no such transfer takes place.

6. How we collect data

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through the contact form, membership and login forms, email and phone correspondence, and cookies.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the retention periods set by applicable law. When these periods end, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose;
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
  • ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate;
  • ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK;
  • ask for corrections, deletions and destructions to be notified to third parties to whom it was transferred;
  • object to a result against you arising solely from analysis by automated systems;
  • and claim compensation if you suffer damage because it was processed unlawfully.

9. How to apply

You can send your requests, together with information verifying your identity, by email to destek@arvellodekor.com or in writing to our address above. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

10. Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. Our site uses two types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Needed for sessions, security, language preference, favourites and comparison lists, and to remember your cookie choice; they do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
  • Statistics cookies: Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) measures visits and page usage. They only run if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner.
